Since 2001, CACFS has been instrumental in transforming lives in Uzbekistan, tirelessly working to provide crucial services such as food, education, healthcare, and shelter to vulnerable families.
The Context
Uzbekistan, a Central Asian nation, has faced a myriad of challenges stemming from its complex historical, political, and economic context. Decades of Soviet rule left a lasting impact on the country, and the subsequent transition to independence in 1991 brought forth a set of unique challenges. The Uzbek government has grappled with issues related to political authoritarianism, limitations on civil liberties, and a centralized economic system, hindering the development of a robust and inclusive society. Economic struggles, including high levels of unemployment and widespread poverty, have added to the multifaceted issues faced by the population.

Additionally, concerns over human rights, freedom of expression, and political pluralism have contributed to a complex social landscape. While efforts are being made to address these challenges, the context in Uzbekistan underscores the need for comprehensive and sustainable solutions to foster positive development and improve the overall well-being of its citizens.

In collaboration with Orphanage No. 21, CACFS has played a crucial role in the restoration of vital spaces for children by contributing to the repair of playgrounds and dining rooms in local orphanages, fostering a more conducive environment for their growth and development. We have extended our reach by donating essential resources such as food and clothing to multiple orphanages and organizations in need, addressing immediate necessities and ensuring the well-being of vulnerable communities.
