The Context
Kazakhstan, with its vast landscapes and rich cultural heritage, has faced multifaceted challenges that necessitated the intervention of NGOs like Cafs. Following the economic and social transitions that accompanied the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan experienced disparities in resource distribution and infrastructure development. Rural areas, in particular, grappled with limited access to essential services, hindering the overall well-being of residents.
